Learn from Dr Coetzee’s wealth of experience

Dr Oscar Coetzee
Clinician, Researcher, Educator

Motivated by his desire to reverse the chronic illness epidemic, Dr Coetzee continues to be a pioneer in the field of nutritional science.

Born and raised in South Africa, where he completed his military schooling and earned bachelor’s degrees in criminology and psychology, Dr Coetzee also earned a masters degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport (USA).
He went on to receive a PhD in holistic nutrition from Clayton College of New Hampshire (USA), and a Doctorate of Clinical Nutrition (DCN). Dr Coetzee finished his second doctorate from Maryland University of Integrative Health, with a specialisation in nutrigenomics.

His key areas of interest are chronic inflammatory diseases, metabolic syndrome, intestinal permeability, type 2 diabetes and sports performance.

Sofia Silcenko ND
Designs for Health Australia

Sofia Silcenko is a Qualified Naturopath who provides health education services for Designs for Health practitioners. She also maintains her own private natuopathic practice.

Sofia is super passionate about:

  • Practitioner education – making complex concepts easy to digest and apply in clinical practice
  • Functional testing as a contemporary holistic naturopathic tool to help practitioners get to the root cause of a health issue

And she has special clinical interests in:

  • brain and mental health
  • biohacking, longevity and performance enhancement
