Discover Chris Sarandis’s Practical Framework for Publishing Content That Holds Up

Master the enforcement patterns, the high-risk content categories, and the five-question pre-publication check that let you publish with confidence instead of crossing your fingers.

Have you ever hit publish on a post, a blog, or a services page and felt a small, nagging doubt about whether it would hold up if anyone looked closely? You’ve read the TGA Advertising Code. You know the AHPRA guidelines exist. You’re careful. And yet you’re producing more content than ever, often with AI tools that have no idea what Australian regulators actually require, and reviewing it in the gaps between consults.

If you’ve been treating compliance as something you learned once and now carry in your head, the ground has shifted under you. AHPRA assessed 775 advertising complaints in its most recent reporting year, more than double the figure from two years earlier, and it is now using AI to scan practitioner websites and social media. The risk isn’t the tools you write with. It’s the gap between how fast content can be created and how fast it can be reviewed.

In this 90-minute deep dive, Chris Sarandis draws on seven years inside TGA-regulated health brands to walk you through the mistakes he saw repeated across hundreds of campaigns, the enforcement data shaping 2026, and the workflow gap that has become the single biggest risk in practitioner marketing. The session centres on a live compliance audit of real practitioner content, so you see exactly what a flag looks like, what a compliant rewrite looks like, and what the documented ‘reasonable steps’ evidence most practitioners can’t currently produce looks like.

Friday, 30th October 2026, 12:00 – 1:30 pm AEST

Designs for Health Australia is proud to present the Practitioner Business Education Series, dedicated to supporting natural health professionals in gaining expertise, deepening clinical experience, and delivering quality patient outcomes.

This deep-dive webinar has been designed for the practitioner who has done the reading, publishes regularly, and still isn’t confident that what goes live tomorrow would survive a closer look.

By the End of This Webinar, You’ll be Able to:

✅  Interpret the current TGA and AHPRA enforcement data and understand what the sharp rise in complaints, removal requests, and AI-driven website scanning signals about where regulatory attention is heading in 2026.

✅  Recognise the three categories of mistake behind most practitioner enforcement action including testimonials and outcome claims (even anonymised ones), condition-specific language that implies diagnosis or treatment, and functional testing communication that creates implicit therapeutic claims.

✅  Understand why these risks catch careful, well-intentioned practitioners and what separates high-risk content from lower-risk content, so you can stop second-guessing everything and focus your attention where it matters.

✅  Apply a five-question pre-publication framework to assess any piece of content before it goes live, without needing to memorise the Advertising Code, and distinguish what you can publish with confidence from what warrants a closer look.

✅  Explain what ‘reasonable steps’ means in the TGA and AHPRA enforcement context and how a documented compliance review functions as evidence if an inquiry ever lands in your inbox.

✅  Distinguish between a compliance assessment, a compliant rewrite, and an audit trail after watching all three produced live on a real practitioner website, and evaluate whether compliance infrastructure that sits inside your content workflow is right for your practice.

🎯  The Goal? To publish your next post, page, or email already knowing it holds up, with a repeatable check you can run in minutes and a record that shows you took reasonable steps, instead of hoping nobody looks too closely.

Why So Many Careful Practitioners Still Publish Content That Wouldn’t Hold Up

Challenge #1: You know the rules. Applying them at speed is the problem. The Advertising Code is published, the AHPRA guidelines are public, and your association has a policy. None of it was written for a practitioner drafting a Tuesday-night Instagram caption between consults. The knowledge exists. A way to apply it at the pace you actually work does not.

Challenge #2: AI writes faster than you can review. The tools that draft your blogs, captions, and emails have no understanding of Australian regulatory frameworks, and they are fluent in exactly the kind of confident, benefit-led language that draws enforcement attention. More content, less review, and a wider gap every month.

Challenge #3: The mistakes that get practitioners caught look harmless. A grateful client’s story with the name removed. A page that mentions a condition you help with. A post explaining what a functional test can reveal. Three categories account for most enforcement action, and each one feels like ordinary, honest communication until someone reads it as a therapeutic claim.

Challenge #4: If asked, you couldn’t show your working. Enforcement turns on whether you took ‘reasonable steps’. Most practitioners review in their heads and publish, leaving no record of what was checked, what was changed, or why. When a question arrives, good intentions are not evidence. A documented review is.

🎯  The Reality: None of this is carelessness. It’s a workflow gap your training never covered: content now moves faster than any practitioner can review it unaided, and regulators are using the same technology to look. Once you have a repeatable pre-publication check and a documented trail in place, the treadmill stops running you, and publishing becomes something you do with confidence again.

How You’ll Read the 2026 Enforcement Landscape Like an Insider

Chris spent seven years as the marketer who had to live with regulatory consequences every day, across campaigns for more than 200 listed products. In this session he translates the latest TGA and AHPRA data into what it actually means for a practitioner publishing content this week: why complaint volumes have more than doubled, what AI-driven scanning of websites and social media changes about the odds of being noticed, and why the gap between the rules and everyday practice is widening rather than closing. You’ll leave able to see your own content the way a regulator now does.

How You’ll Check Any Piece of Content Before It Goes Live

Rather than asking you to memorise the Advertising Code, Chris gives you a five-question framework you can run over any post, page, or email in minutes, then shows it working on real practitioner content in a live audit. You’ll watch a compliance flag get raised, see the compliant rewrite that keeps the message without the claim, and understand what a documented audit trail looks like and why it is the ‘reasonable steps’ evidence that matters most if an inquiry ever comes. It’s the difference between hoping your content is compliant and knowing it is.

Your Guide to Publishing Practitioner Content That Holds Up

Chris Sarandis is the founder of CompliGUARD, an AI-enabled compliance infrastructure platform for TGA, AHPRA, FSANZ and ACCC-regulated health marketing.

He spent seven years working inside Australian health businesses as a Marketing and Brand Manager, responsible for campaigns across more than 200 listed products and accumulating hands-on regulatory training as the marketer who had to live with the consequences of it every day.

He built CompliGUARD because he needed it and couldn’t find it. In this session, Chris brings that insider’s perspective to the practitioner side of the fence: the patterns he saw repeated, the enforcement data shaping 2026, and a practical way to close the gap between how fast you create content and how fast you can check it.
